Der Artikulator PS1 wurde mit speziellen Geometrien entwickelt, um patientenindividuelle Dreh-, Gleit- und Schließbewegungen des Kiefers, wie sie beim Kauen auftreten, zu simulieren.
Das Oberkiefermodell kann nach der Registrierung entsprechend der natürlichen Kopfhaltung und mithilfe der skelettalen Mitte und des Kauzentrums auf dem PlanePositioner® positioniert und anschließend in den mechanischen Artikulator PS1 übertragen werden. Der individuelle Verlauf der Okklusionsebene kann am PlanePositioner® dargestellt werden.

The articulator PS1 has been developed with special geometries to simulate turning, sliding and closing movements that occur when chewing and which are individual to each patient.
After registration, the upper jaw model can be positioned on the PlanePositioner® according to the natural posture of the head and with help of the skeletal center and the masticatory center. Afterwards, it can be transferred to the mechanical articulator PS1. The individual occlusion plain can be illustrated on the PlanePositioner®.
